LOGIX Insulated Concrete Forms Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of the LOGIX Greenbate for Homes Energy Consumption Study Program.

Under this new and exciting program, homeowners will receive a direct “greenbate” of $1.00 for every full height LOGIX block used in the construction of their single family home.

Eligible homes must be fully constructed with LOGIX (from footings to rafters), must receive an eligible environmentally friendly certification and must participate in our LOGIX Energy Consumption Study.

The first LOGIX shipment to the job site must be made in 2009 or 2010 and the home must receive its certification by December 31, 2011. 

In the USA, the following environmentally friendly certifications are eligible for the LOGIX Greenbate:

• Certified as a “LEED Home” under the LEED For Homes program as administered by the US Green Building Council.
• National Green Building Certification, as administered by the NAHB.
• Energy Star Certification 

In Canada, the following environmentally friendly certifications are eligible for the LOGIX Greenbate:

• Certified as a “LEED Home” under the LEED Canada For Homes program as administered by the Canadian Green Building Council.
• R2000 Program, as administered by the Canadian Home Builders Association
• Energuide For New Homes (score of 80 or higher), as administered by Natural Resources Canada. 

Other environmentally friendly certifications may be considered, please contact your LOGIX regional office to confirm program eligibility. 

Space in this program is limited and applicants are strongly encouraged to register for the LOGIX Greenbate as soon as possible to confirm eligibility and compliance requirements.

Greenbate Registration forms are available from LOGIX Territory Managers and Authorized LOGIX Distributors. Applicants will be provided a registration number and LOGIX will monitor the project and provide required support upon request. 

All approved Greenbates will be paid out once the home certification, proof of purchase of LOGIX products and 12 months of energy bills are submitted to LOGIX.

Sufficiency of proof of purchase of LOGIX products will be at the sole discretion of LOGIX Insulated Concrete Forms Ltd. The proof of purchase must:

1) verify that the full height (footing to roof) exterior walls of the home were built with LOGIX.

2) verify the quantity of LOGIX forms used.

3) verify that the LOGIX products were paid in full.

Supporting documents can include, but are not limited to:

* Invoices from Developers, General Contractors and Sub-Contractors, as applicable.

* Invoices and/or statements from the Authorized LOGIX Distirbutor and/or the plant of origin of the LOGIX products.
